Big Sky tuff’s Winston
Winston is a big, beautiful Shire gelding that found his way to our farm in 2020 during the pandemic. He was born in 2016 in Montana, made his way out east as a baby, sold to a friend here in West Michigan when he was 3 years old but we weren’t quick enough to act on buying him. He made his way to Florida at that point and to our luck, returned to our friend who promptly contacted us that he was available again. So as a 4 year old, he came to live with us and quickly became best buds with our Clydesdale Olivia. They are inseparable now. Our Drum gelding Marshall and Winston love to rough house and play. Tilly doesn’t seem to have time for Winston but will drive with him as a pair if we ask. Winston can be a bit nervous about things so we are taking our time with his development. He goes for long trail rides, has started low level dressage (walk/trot for now), driving single and driving in a pair with his girlfriend Olivia. Maybe one day, he and Marshall can drive together - if they can control themselves from wanting to play that is.
